Battle Secretary Pete Hegseth mentioned Thursday that some cartel drug traffickers working within the U.S. Southern Command space of accountability have halted narcotics exercise following latest U.S. army strikes within the Caribbean.
“WINNING: Some prime cartel drug-traffickers within the @SOUTHCOM AOR have determined to stop all narcotics operations INDEFINITELY on account of latest (extremely efficient) kinetic strikes within the Caribbean,” Hegsth wrote in a put up on X.
Hegseth credited President Donald Trump with directing the army actions, calling the hassle a lifesaving deterrent.
