A 37-year-old man is in important situation after, police stated, he was struck in a hit-and-run crash that occurred in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood on Monday.
And, on Tuesday morning, officers introduced the arrest of the driving force believed to be concerned within the incident.
In keeping with police, the crash occurred at about 6 p.m. on Monday, alongside the 1900 block of East Somerset Road in Kensington.
At the moment, officers stated, a car struck a 37-year-old man who was strolling eastbound alongside Somerset Road — although, police didn’t instantly say if the person was within the roadway or on the sidewalk on the time.
Following the crash, police stated the driving force sped away within the placing car and the sufferer was taken to a close-by hospital the place he was listed in important situation.
The 30-year-old driver, who police imagine was behind the wheel of the placing car — recognized as Naeem S. Toler — was arrested after officers stopped his car alongside the 3500 block of G Road following the crash.
Toler has been charged with aggravated assault, careless driving and associated offenses.
